So my DD is still breastfeeding, I've just returned to work so I express milk for her twice a day. It's a single pump. I've noticed that when I put the pump on my left boob, my left ear 'pops' slightly with each suction of the pump. It's like a metronome and there is about 1 pump per second and my left ear pops a fraction of a second after each time it pumps. Like when you go on a plane and the pressure pops your ear, but it just keeps happening! Right ear is fine. Left ear still pops slightly when I'm pumping the right boob but not as much. I've tried just turning the pump on but not putting it on my boob to see if its just the noise of the pump that's making it my ear pop but its not - there's no popping when it's not actually on my boob. I also never get this repeated popping in my ear any other time. And as soon as I stop pumping, the ear popping stops straight away.
Has anyone else ever had this? Or am I broken and is my left ear somehow weirdly connected to my left boob?!
