Need a birthday gift

For a fantastic friend. However it's complicated!

She has multiple and complex medical needs and is housebound so no restaurant vouchers etc. No food at all as on a specialised diet. No candles as she's on oxygen or diffusers etc as it affects her breathing. No bags / scarves / gloves etc as she rarely leaves him except medical appointments. No craft projects etc as she has limited hand mobility.
I often gift her hands creams, wrist warmers, lip balms etc for when she's in hospital so would like something different.

Can anyone suggest anything?

How about a Netflix subscription if she doesn’t have one ?

SilverHairedCat · 10/03/2022 13:47

Would she like an electric blanket? Keeps the heating bills down too.

What about a Jellycat soft toy. They’re super soft and very cute and they come in a really wide range of styles. They always make me smile, plus they’re so cuddly. If she just likes to feel/stroke things I’ve heard the octopuses are really popular.

I know it sounds a silly idea, but she might love it.

I was just going to say electric throw or blanket! Bought my Mum one for her birthday and she loves it.
I love my monthly magazine subscription or lay flat make up/ toiletries bags.
Could a hair tool help? I'm thinking heated brush, if she could manage it?

Can she read books? Listen to CDs? Or something nice for her house - cushion, blanket or throw, bedding, photo frame, vase, nice pyjamas, slippers, socks or loungewear?

dancemom · 10/03/2022 14:09

She has Netflix Prime etc and she already has multiple heated blankets and throws.

Hot brush wouldn't work as she's also loosing her hair. And teeth unfortunately.

But thank you for all the suggestions so far.
