DD's eyes squeak, is this normal?!

If DD presses on her tear ducts, it makes an audible noise, kinda like a squeak. It's very clear to hear, it's not quiet!

Yesterday she told me she can hear her eyes when she moves them.

Has anyone heard of this?

Should I be worried about it?

I can't hear her eyes, I got really close and listened but I believe her that she can.

The tear duct noise is loud, though, you can hear it clearly if you're sitting next to her.

Has she had an eye test lately? I’d book one asap.

She's due for an eye test, I'll mention it to the optician when we go.

It's not a new thing though. What's new is she told me she can hear her eyes, but her tear ducts have been squeaky for ages

I have this! Now nearly 40, never caused any problems- it’s a good party piece 🤣

My eyes squeak when I press them. I’m 33 and they haven’t fallen out yet Grin

I do have appalling eyesight though (-9.5 in both eyes) so maybe a correlation? You might find she needs glasses.

it’s a good party piece Thanks, I'll pass that on to DD Grin
