How can I improve my handwriting?

I work in a job where legible handwriting is very important but things are usually written in a rush. If I take my time my handwriting is fine, but when rushed it becomes quite spidery and rubbish.

Is there anything I can buy or a course I can do to improve it? Sorry if that sounds silly but its really bothering me Blush

I took a calligraphy course back when night school was a thing, it improved my normal hand-writing almost immediately.
Relearning how to form letters seemed to help my hand-writing flow easier and it became easier to read as a result.

You can get books on how to improve your handwriting for adults

When you have to write under pressure, there can be a tendency to grip the pen more tightly and to tense up the wrist, or even the whole arm.

Try to focus on relaxing while writing quickly. Practice at home to help you remember at work.

I agree with the PP about actively re-learning how to form and join letters.
