Has anyone ever been to the Spa at The Lanesborough?

Has anyone ever been to the spa at the Lanesborough before? I've been gifted a voucher for £250 to spend the day there! Eek! Not a massive spa goer but have had a shit time recently (in a first world kind of way of course).

I want to know what it's like. Can I wear my robe to lunch in the restaurant? Do they provide robes and sliders? Can I drink fizz? Can I chill and read my book anywhere? Will I feel odd being by myself? Etc etc. what to expect basically.

Also not sure if the £250 should go on lunch or treatments or what.

I don't know about the spa but Monica Galetti and Giles Coren reviewed/worked at the Lanesborough in a recent episode of their hotel show on BBC1

I have been and happy to answer your questions. You can absolutely read your book by the pool, it is lovely. You can wear your robe to lunch - the food is great. Although a lot of people will be wearing normal clothes. Yes the provide robes and slippers. Lockers and lovely showers and hair products, hair dryers, etc. it is very small, very club-like atmosphere. There is a gym too so people use the gym but it is a tiny gym. You won’t feel odd being by yourself. I am a member and go there regularly by myself. In fact, I call it my office because I spend whole days there - there is a room for members where you can work and a conference room, etc. It is small and discreet and quiet and perfectly lovely. The therapists are all great. Go and spend as much time there as you can, bring your suit so you can use the little pool. (Assuming your gift voucher allows use of all spa facilities - better check to make sure!)

@Towerheads1234 thank you! That sounds fabulous! Yes I intend to spend all day if possible!! As a busy mum this is a total rarity! I understand I can have light meals in the lounge if I don't want to spend my voucher on the Michelin started restaurant? Would you recommend any running order of things? Eg I want to sit and read my book, use the thermo pool, showers etc, have lunch, and then perhaps choose one treatment. Shall I do treatment last once I've finished with the pool etc?
