How often do you treat the kids to a treat?

How often do you treat the kids to say a McDonald's, chippy tea or similar?

Not sure if I'm too tight or not?
We always have treats in at home but quite rarely treat them to takeaway milkshake, food etc.

Once a month maybe once every three weeks, my children are fussy eaters so wouldn’t eat a chippy tea but they do like a subway!

McDonald's, pizza or fish and chips isn't a treat for us. It's. A way to fairly cheaply eat when there is no time to cook. In the summer it might be once a week when we are at the stables til 8 then still have the drive home so pick something up to eat on the way. For us a treat is to go for meze or tapas which might be 2-3 times a year or somewhere like Cosmo which is maybe once a year.

Not as often anymore. Maybe once a month we have a McDonalds, it's too expensive now that daughter is older, when she was a bab and had happy meals it wasn't so bad.

Mine still have happy meals then get a burger on top from the pound saver menu. The packaged drinks are the same ones as the adult meals and they don't need a massive cup of fizzy drink anyway. I tend just to get a pound saver burger and large fries as I always have a drink in the car so don't bother with that I don't finish the fries so they share out what I don't eat. Works out way cheaper

Certain foods are definitely a treat in this house. Mcds, sweets, ice cream etc. Money is tight so it's lovely when we can afford something like that, maybe once a month.

Once a week we go to McDonald's after swimming class.
We usually have a chippy tea/ eat out on a Friday. Sometimes at the weekend, we go out for breakfast dd loves this.
A treat for dd usually is getting something at the Supermarket when I'm doing the shop magazine/small toy.

DD and I have a coffee and cake trip once a fortnight, that's her treat, we don't put value on food like that. We have takeout when she's asleep or very cleverly disguised when she has a normal dinner.
