Have you ever caught someone doing something embarrassing?

I love reading funny threads about people who did something to someone (accidentally texted their boss when they were talking behind their back when they meant to text their friends for example, or that hilarious thread earlier today). But I was wondering, has anyone ever been on the receiving end?

Have you ever caught someone doing something to you?

I stayed at my aunt's house at one point. I don' think she liked me very much, but she was cordial to my face.

I tidied after myself and tried to keep my room tidy as well as I could, but one day, I emptied my suitcase on my bed and put some clothes out from my closet to sort them out.
I also took my books out and spread them on the table to reorganise them and give away the ones I didn't read.
Room was a mess at that point and my aunt asked me to walk to the dog so I left it to come back to it later.
The walk was probably only around 15 minutes long.
My aunt didn't say anything when I came back.

Later on that evening, she asked me for help with her emails. She hadn't received an email her friend allegedly sent her.
I told her to check her spams but she accidentally opened her "sent" folder and the first email that popped up was en email sent to what looked like at least 40/50 recipients, titled "OMG!!" and included a picture of my bedroom, with all the clothes on my bed and books on the desk.

She tried to close the page repeatedly but the page froze.

I don't know who was more embarrassed, her or me!

Aged 12, I had a long journey to school. I used to take my bus and train fare from a box of my step father's change each morning. I left long before anyone else was up. One morning the change box was nearly empty and I was running a bit late. Uncharacteristically, I barged into my parents' bedroom to ask for travel money, to be confronted by a two headed beast!!! My mother and step father gymnastically DTD, butt naked with no covers on!

I immediately backed out and yelled a mortified Sorry! A minute later my step-dad stumbled out wearing my mum's kimono and gave me my money. I was deeply shocked, but had pretty much forgotten if by morning break having regaled my friends with the horror.

While I was lounging on the floor after school later that day watching Grange Hill, my mother says from the sofa.

"Darling, about this morning. Daddy (sic) has his needs."

I was absolutely appalled and still am. BlushBlushBlush

This did galvanise them to buy me a travel card.

Op your story is so funny! Realised mine doesn't quite fit, but it was unforgettably embarrassing. Smile

I was once out with a friend and she invited me out to a gathering she was going to that night, with a few of her friends that I also know. Then one of the friends rings her, its on speaker because we are driving. She tells the friend that she has invited me, and not realising that I'm there, the caller says "oh no not lime, don't invite her" Blush.

Haha those are hilarious PP!

One of mine happened a couple of years ago at work. I walked out of a room at work following a discussion with a work acquaintance (I was the client). I walked down the long corridor and was stood at the lift waiting for it to arrive (it was around the corridor out of sight). I then heard the acquaintance walk out of the same room I had just left slagging me off (work related) to somebody. I stood there cringing listening whilst they walked the very long corridor in my direction and then came face to face with me stood at the lift. Was a very awkward lift journey all together with them realising I would have heard their whole conversation. Luckily I'm thick-skinned and we actually worked for different companies so I didn't take it personally.
