What crazy things do you still do for your teen DC without even thinking about it?

Just cooked spaghetti bolognese for tea and after dishing up the spaghetti I cut through the middle of it on the dc plates to make it shorter to twirl before putting on the bolognese.....they are 16 and 13 BlushConfused
Didn't even occur to me not to cut it I just always have...and the crazy thing is they don't even know I do it Grin
Disclaimer I work in childcare so cut up food for children daily!
Got me thinking what crazy things do you still do for your teen dc that they don't even know about?

Not me, but parents of teens I've seen doing this.

I figure skate, & have seen parents of teens I know are NT lacing up said teens skates.

Teens are aged 16 or so. I often wonder if the parents have to go into school to tie their trainers for PE lessons...

I've just started insisting 10yo has laced shoes so I'm not still doing them when he's a teenager. Tbf, he's already better at tying them than our teenager is. I may be cutting 10yo's nails for the rest of his life, he just won't do it.

I break spaghetti in half before cooking it. They are only 10&9 though.

I make their lunchboxes everyday. I know they could do it but the 15 yr old is lazy and wouldn't actually prepare anything so would end up with just crisps. If I'm doing hers I may as well do the 13 year olds too!

I think I'll do it til they go to 6th form and can go to greggs in town lol

My husband makes lunchboxes every day for our 13 year old twins. He even goes so far as to boil eggs for egg mayo when they have the urge Grin. It’s quite cute really.
