Period pouring out after being 9 days late

My period was 9 days late and it is now extremely watery and heavy with very large clumps, I've leaked through 2 pairs of pants and pads within 2 hours. this isn't normal for me and I'm having a lot of pains in my abdomen, back and vagina, it feels like its going to fall out. Has anyone experienced this? Am I having a miscarriage? Should I go to the hospital? Really stressing about it...

@Little52 I asked for a referral to gynae for a scan as I said I believed I had fibroids (had googled a bit). Absolutely no issue, it was done immediately - although a long waiting list for the scan originally.

This sounds a lot like my early miscarriage unfortunately at 7 weeks - I did have a positive pregnancy test the week earlier. Suddenly started bleeding and managed to pass out on the way to the loo. I was seen in our local EPU (early pregnancy unit) where they did a vaginal scan and that was the first time I found out about my fibroids.

I was 11 weeks so was in no doubt that I had been pregnant. I had an overnight stay with IV fluids. There is no nice way to say it, but once I passed the pregnancy it all slowed down. I think the concern is if there is a rupture or other injury, or it doesn’t stop.

Just an update for anyone who may have the same issue... bleeding has basically stopped so think it may have been an early miscarriage. I will definitely get my bloods checked and check for fibroids also. Thank you everyone 🙂
