Fell and badly cut leg

Name changed as outing , stuck in a & e as fel and cut my leg really bad also waiting to see of broken
Having to go to theatre to have my leg sorted, hate anaesthetics and on my own as bloody covid means no one with you , im cold and scared need a handhold
Probably being a drama queen but trying to pass time

oh you poor thing, that sounds horrible - have they given you something for the pain? When are you going to theatre?

Offered me morphine but held off for now as think it will get worse
No idea on theatre think they checking its also not broken first
Its so horrible being in here alone i really feel for people and busy people are in the corridors
We really need to put more in to our nhs and have more room

No all good decided that surgery not needed just lots of stitches then chucked out , assume not broken as no one came back about that, very bruised abdomen and fingers as well.
There were no beds to be had though so convinced thats also what made them elect just stitches
I went from being told may be transferred to a specialist hospital , then ok can do here but in theatre, so wasn't allowed water from 10am until decided to stitch around 3 , then sent home about 3.20 , had to stand in cold waiting for lift
Tbf hospital was manic and staff run off their feet

Sounds terrible op, hope you're home and cosy now. I've found hospital cold the few times I've had to wait and it just makes you so much more miserable. I hope your leg is okay

Oh you poor thing that is bloody awful. You need to really cosset yourself for the next week at least.

I was in hospital 3 years back and it was horrible, even with my sister supporting me a lot of the time. It must feel rotten to be by yourself. Still, we're here! What would you like to talk about? If you're stuck for ideas I'll suggest a random topic!
