Fiverr is a site where you can go and get things you may need for their business like logos, icons, blog posts and so many more things.

People can post services they offer and charge for them.

Take a look here to see what people are offering.

www.fiverr.com/

So to answer your question yes people can make money from it.

Hope that helps.

Why don't you just google it?

Of course you can make money on it if you have something to sell that people want and the market isn't already over-saturated.

Of course you can make money from it doing freelance work however you will be competing against people in other countries that can completely undercharge you.
You are better off picking what you want to offer and pitching in Facebook groups

Because then they can’t advertise it on here 😉

Bloody stupid advice on its own, frankly.

Fiver is a platform where you can buy, sell and bid on mainly digital, design, technical, and copywriting skills.

Do you have any of those?

MadameDragon · 14/03/2022 21:16

Look at Reedsy instead.

I think you have to be good at self-marketing on top of the skill(s) you're planning on selling on somewhere like Fiverr. Your job ads have to grab attention and showcase your offering at its best. As others have said, the marketplace can be oversaturated, so try and find a niche where there's a little more breathing space. And don't undersell your work. That can be tempting.

Fiverr is completely shit for my line of work. Crap clients, poor fees, race to the bottom.

What skills do you have? Tbh if you can't even Google fiverr then I'm not sure you're cut out for working freelance 🤔
