Do you currently work for test and trace in England?

Hi! Just wondering if anyone here works for test and trace in England and was employed for contact tracing/ advising during Covid, what are you doing at the moment?

I'm in Wales and it's all (mostly) coming to an end at the end of March, but our contracts run until the end of May. I'm a contact advisor so I deal with contacts of positive cases rather than the people who have covid themselves. Obviously there will be no legal requirement to isolate and not many people will be being tested.

I'm just wondering what my job might look like for the next 3 months as we haven't had much information yet and England are already there so if you could let me know I would be grateful.

Thanks!

Interesting question. I'd also wondered what all the track and trace staff are actually doing with the their time nowadays?

In wales they are still going to be testing certain people such as health care workers and a few others, and from the sound of it we will be letting people know they are contacts but they won't have to isolate or test or anything.
It may be that we end up doing something else, that's why I was asking but there doesn't seem to be anyone here who does it too Grin
