What would your ideal garden look like?

I'm in a flat, have some herbs on the window sill but spring has got me thinking...If you could your dream garden, what would it be like?

I'd just want a few bedding plants for colour, room for an outdoor table and chairs, small bbq, and some veg beds. And a pear tree.

Sounds lovely Susu. Mine is what I have got - a traditional perennial garden on a small scale (now I am older!). I've had big gardens before and specifically created the small garden I wanted.

Two seating areas, chiminea, rose arch, perennials, alpines, ferns and hostas in the shade.

I love it, it only takes me a day each season to keep on top of.

one that does not look like the craters of the moon lol .Mines a disaster ,i tried a rotovator .Dug it up made it flat ,re planted the lawn to start again.Still looks like the moon rip
