Europe holiday for teens

Hi all you lovely mumsnetters. I’m really hoping you can give me some help for finding a good preteen/teen holiday destination.

We’re looking at somewhere for 5-7 days not in the U.K. but with plenty to do for the kids (11 & 13).

I’m ideally not after a package holiday as we like to be able to explore different things and are going to Tenerife in October.

I’ve looked at Eurocamp type resorts, we love Duinrell and it is an option to go back there but I was hoping you might all have some other suggestions of what to do & recommendations of places you have been to.

We like city breaks, water parks, theme parks, water sports etc

Thank you all!

Berlin or Copenhagen are great cities with loads to do. Or you could go to Lake Constance.

I'd recommend a cruise. It's a great holiday for all the family.

My DCs loved Rome at about those ages.

Puy du Fou in the Vendee. It's an amazing living history park with incredible shows. We only did one day but I would recommend 2 to see it all. Could book eurocamp on the coast and travel or stay in one of their hotels for a couple of nights.

Thank you all, I’ll take a look at these.

@gabsdot45 we had a cruise booked for the summer but for one reason and another we’ve had to move that to next year so this is our replacement holiday!
