Would this bother you?

I know someone who has a council flat (had it for years, doesn't work due to illness, gets full benefits) and they have moved in with their partner who works (and has their own place)

In order not to lose benefits, they've kept their old flat (for a couple of years) does this ever get checked out? It really bugs me when there's lists of people waiting to be housed, but on MN everyone says "none of your business/keep your nose out" if you mention reporting anything.

Would it bother you?

It would probably bother me if I was waiting to be housed to be honest.
Don't think I'd be able to "grass them up" though.

I do not think that I would get involved with this. It is not my job to do the councils work for them. I would be asking what is there to gain by informing on her. So no, it would not bother me.
