I have a large percentage of grey hair now and at her age of 44 I'm not ready to embrace it yet.
For years I have coloured my own hair using proper salon colour from salon suppliers. And I only do the roots each time,
I currently use colour number 3 which is very dark. (I have very dark eyes so can carry it off).
However, I would like to lighten it to perhaps a shade 4 as I feel the 3 is starting to look a bit too dark.
How can I lighten it? Can I just put on a 4 or does it need to be done in a salon?
Any advice please?
