Is anyone good with mid contract price rises?

BT want another £5 from us effective 31/3.

It is our plan to move away from BT but we can’t do that until August. Is anyone any good with this stuff. Can we say no to the increase and go now?

Generally if you have signed up to a contract where mid-contract price rises are allowed as part of the terms and conditions then you don't have an automatic right to leave as a result of such a price rise. Increasingly, standard T&Cs are written to allow companies to apply these mid contract price rises - you'd need to know what your contract says to see if you can leave without penalty.
