My 3 year old has become so difficult

Hi , my 3 year old son is so difficult about everything
Me and my husband can't even sit and have breakfast without a meltdown.
I dread Saturdays because my husband wants a resting day but I have a toddler who is clingy to him and then I feel stressed.
Our toddler is high maintenance about everything and I'm feeling worn down. My husband isn't as handson with house chores and our son doesn't let us speak or anything

They are not called threenagers for nothing.
Lots of outside time and exercise.
Sometimes choices - eg carrot or apple but not to many as it’s overwhelming for them.
And immediate consequences. But remember their impulse control is still developing.
Distraction is also good!
