Do your parents help you out financially?

Most of my friends have had financial help from their parents or in-laws, some have had substantial help of £30k+ and others are given generous cash gifts every now and then or had substantial wedding gifts.
One friend is very financially comfortable yet her mum (who isn’t) still gifts her around £3000 every year.
Another got into arrears with her mortgage and her parents released equity on their house to help her, others get lots of money for birthdays etc.
Do your parents help you out with money?

No. Not a penny. Nothing towards my house or towards anything at all. I don't need it. I would ask them if I were in dire straits, but been lucky enough that I haven't needed to.

I think things may be very different with my own DC.

JanisMoplin that’s what I say to DH, with the cost of houses in our area, DC are either going to have to live in the garden or we’ll have to help then financially somehow!
