A weekend with no plans - bored and fed up just thinking about it! Help!

Ok what would you do with a free weekend? I do have children though Grin

I live in London but have a car.

Help! I can’t face the local parks on repeat or any more time spent in our house!!! (Work from home / I’m on maternity leave, which has made being home in “leisure time” very boring!)

What would you do with a plan-less weekend?

How old are your dcs?

Sunday looks dry, so get out of London, drive or train to the seaside? Random non-hot days at the beach are fabulous. Fish and chips and a play then home. Go looking in rock pools. Take multiple outfit changes.

Go swimming on the rainy Saturday.

British Museum/Postal Museum? Make a day of it with a run around Coal Drops Yard, Platform 9 3/4 at Kings Cross, and pizza for lunch.

I like to keep a list of places I want to visit / explore and then when I'm lucky enough to get a free weekend I have plenty to choose from. Tomorrow I want to go to a canal visitor centre (mainly because I've heard the cafe does the best ever cakes).

Have a bus adventure to the Horniman Museum!
