Where's the best fancy hotel in London to get a drink?

I love exploring fancy hotels for some reason and want to see one and sit down and have a drink. What are your recommendation? I know there are so many posh hotels in London too many to choose from?

Don't bother with the Ritz. Had dinner there, totally forgettable.

I'd say Claridges bar, the bar at the Savoy

Apart from the American Bar in the Savoy (which is closed at the moment,) I'd say the best hotel cocktail bars are Beaufort Bar (Savoy,) Artesian (The Langham,) The Connaught Bar, Fitz's Bar (The Principal,) and Waeska (The Mandrake.)

Got to be Charlotte Street hotel for cocktails. Although I've not been for a few years, I'm hoping it's still as lovely as it used to be!

I used to like the Library at the Lanesborough, but it had got a bit Russian oligarch-y last time I was there.

I love the Donovan bar in Brown’s too. Small, intimate & grown up.

People rave about Sketch and the interior looks eye popping. I’ve never been, tbh, I’m concerned it’s a bit influencer-y for me Grin

Sea Cointainers, especially on a lovely summer evening.

Shangri La in The Shard, for the view.

And not a hotel, but hands down my favourite spot for a fancy drink is the wine bar in the basement of Fortnums.
