Ticketmaster - reselling tickets

I'm due to attend a big concert that was rescheduled twice due to Covid.
The new date falls on the Queens bank hol jubilee and I really don't want to travel to London over that weekend. I would rather get a refund and buy tickets closer to home.

Ticketmaster's refund policy states that only a prebooked event such as a wedding or holiday will be accepted as a reason for cancellation and evidence must be provided so can't do that.
There is no option to resell or swap via their website either.

How do I stand with selling them to a friend? Do they ask for ID that matches the name on the ticket? It's ages since I've been to a big concert so I can't remember!

I recently got a refund from Ticket master. Told them I couldn't go on the new arranged date and they refunded me. Got a response from them within a couple of hours too. I had bought the same tickets at a different venue though so not sure if that helped their decision. Worth a try. If you're definitely wanting to sell them then I'd drop them a message, im sure they'd be happy to help. Service for me was fantastic!

Oh that's great!
The message on the website sounds very no nonsense but I think it was written at the height of the pandemic when things were being cancelled left right and centre. They are perhaps a bit more relaxed about it now.
I will give them a go tomorrow.

You can transfer the tickets to a friends name or you can sell them via Twickets which is very easy to do.
