Bit of a long story but before xmas I had an infection which took 4 lots of antibiotics to get rid of. I then had stage 1 of a root canal done on emergency.
I was due to have stage 2 last week, but I had an impacted wisdom tooth - which could have been the cause of said infections - removed under GA because it was so deep. I had to reschedule the rct and my dentist cant do this until May. That's almost 5 months post stage 1.
I am currently on my second week of antibiotics for another infection which my surgeon thought was due to bad healing of the extraction site. I'm in agony, but its' the rct tooth. This is the first molar, one tooth away from the extraction site.
I'm seeing my surgeon on thursday, but he won't do anything with the rct tooth. I'm debating finding a private dentist to just extract the molar too. Any advice? I can't have this pain another 2 months.
