So , my whole family have been hit with pharyngitis that we think my dd brought home from pre school . I went doctors who told me my throat looked really inflamed but probably viral . It’s been 2 weeks nearly and still my throat is SO sore . No fever . Tried everything . My worry is I’ll need antibiotics which I’ve had in a previous pregnancy at an early stage and I’m convinced caused a cleft lip in unborn baby ( I lost that pregnancy unfortunately ) anyway I’m 4.5 weeks which is around the time I had the amoxicillin last time and I just don’t know what to do . Anyone had a sore throat last this long and NOT be bacterial ? I’m so worried about putting this pregnancy at risk after my past experience .
