Moving to Highcliffe/Christchurch?

Not sure if this is the right section so apologies if not. We currently live in Surrey and are considering moving to Highcliffe or surrounding areas. I have 2 DD’s, one in year 5 and one in year 2. So looking for an area with good comprehensive secondary choices. I’m a secondary teacher myself and will be looking to find a job once settled. Looking to be close to the sea, but not isolated from bigger towns and an area with plenty to keep teenage girls happy in the future. My own research suggests Highcliffe could be a good choice. Please give me any opinions or info you have on this area and let me know if my research is on the right track. Thanks

Hi. Highcliffe school had a good reputation and Highcliffe a nice place to live. Your issue in the short term is going to be finding primary school places. I suspect that St Marks the primary in Highcliffe will be full. I live in Christchurch, where the secondary Twynham is also very good and similarly a mixed comprehensive. This could be another option, although same issue with primary places. Happy to help with any specific questions
