Would you travel to Europe now?

I’m due to travel for work in two weeks time. Over to France for meetings.

Can I refuse to travel? Would you travel now? It’s a three day trip.

@GallopingHighRoad save for Ukraine, presumably

I do need to leave. Just don’t fancy trying to get a new job at the moment. They are weirdly inflexible about something’s but very flexible when it comes to DD which has been their only saving grace.

Right now I'd rather be in France than the UK. At least our president isn't such a fucking liability

Bit confused about this. Do you mean Macron ‘it’s going to be alright - I’ve sorted it with my mate Putin’ isn’t a liability?

Or do you mean Boris who - despite being fucking inept through the pandemic but appears to have been born ready for this situation is the liability?

I've a Romania work trip coming up, as long as work allow me to go I'll go.

What? Is this really how people in the U.K. view the situation? France is no closer to Ukraine than you are. I’m going to Germany on Wednesday and haven’t given it a second thought.

Well it's the first time since WW2 that Germany has got involved in anything military & they have made it clear they support Ukraine. So I do actually find that worrying.
