I have every symptom under the sun: fever, earache, headache, aches and pains, horrible abdominal cramps (I'm bloated), and just general malaise. Over the phone the GP couldn't figure out what it was (she thought it was my appendix, but I don't have one) and the other possible culprit is a UTI (but I don't have any symptoms!) Anybody has had the same that could tell me it was something rather than just a random virus?

Some people just feel tired and under the weather with a UTI. Some people have no symptoms at all & it’s only picked up on a routine dip for a health check or diabetic appointment. Without testing a sample you shouldn’t discount it.

For me, feeling ill in myself is often the first symptom I get of a uti. Could it be diverticulitis? Have you had loose stools?
