Restaurant/pub near Birmingham airport?

Hello, could anyone recommend somewhere for food near the NEC please? Staying at the premier inn before we fly out of Birmingham, would prefer a decent pub for a bit if food and a pint, rather than TGI Fridays.

Not posh but we generally wander over to Resortsworld (by the old NEC) and go to Los Iguanas. Lots of other places there.

Depends how near, and how 'nice' you want... the Boat (I think) at Catherine de Barnes is nice, and the Malt Shovel at Barston. Both a drive though. But would be a nice way to start your holiday.
If you want to be really close, then as PP says, it's one of the chains at Resorts World.

Or the Orange Tree at Chadwick End for slightly less posh, but still very nice.

Lots of chain type places at Resorts World but for a proper pub meal I’d recommend The Bull at Meriden.
