I think for me seeing the PY&MH interview on the BB bed as a youngster was completely different to seeing it now knowing what happened subsequently.

Looking back I can't believe it was allowed but as an innocent secondary school student at the time I never quite realised what a minx PY was!! Was she like that with all her interviewees?

On the subject of Dave Gahan - he is one of the most charismatic front men I've ever seen play live: incredibly sexy in the way he moves with that beautiful, sultry voice and he looks as though he's really enjoying himself onstage. But when he speaks, oh, that strong Essex accent! The complete picture is immediately ruined ...

Just Googled Morten Harket and he could be the twin of Patrick Swayze! The resemblance is uncanny.

I couldn't pick a favourite between Stevie and Lindsey. He's a skilled arranger/mixer, great songwriter and one of the most underrated guitarists of all time. I'll forgive him for having the off-year with the 'Tango in the Night' album: The Mac's only wrong-step for me. Nicks is a wonderful lyrist and, IMO, has the best female voice in the genre bar none, and has a mesmerizing stage presence. Some of her performances are so powerful and emotionally charged, I could watch them on repeat.

I wouldn't want to watch the Mac without Lindsey, or Lindsey without the Mac. So sad that has now folded when they've managed to keep for six whole decades.
