Sorry, its another invasion one but I have a specific question...
I was quite young at the time (and obviously oblivious) but don't recall anything about the 2008 Russian invasion of George.
I'm pretty sure I'd remember fears of WW3 though...So, can someone please fill me in on what the difference is between the Russian invasion of Georgia vs it's current one of Ukraine?
Were there the sane fears of escalation then and if not, why not? Why is the current situation considered so much more volatile?
