Can you still get Tranexamic Acid over the counter?

According to the NHS site, tranexamic acid should be available over the counter for heavy periods, but looking at various pharmacy websites I can't find any that advertise it as available. I can find old links that show Boots used to sell it but can't see anything current. Also threads on here about it but again, years ago.

Has anyone bought this over the counter recently, and if so, from where, please?

You could try speaking directly to a pharmacist about it? I had it prescribed about six months ago but I asked the doc specifically for it, without consultation, and they were happy to prescribe over the phone.

I get the feeling it’s a bit of an old-fashioned thing now as everyone is expected to be on long term hormonal contraception.
