How to word invitation!

I'm a single parent making a digital invitation for my daughters holy communion - but it will go to ExH's family who will also attend (he is unlikely to).

The current wording says
"Please join us as we celebrate the First communion of our daughter X on..."

I need a wording without the "us", "we", and "our", because I don't want any mention of him when he's unlikely to come. But I can't say "please join me as I celebrate the communion of my daughter" because it's looks rude to ExH's family.

Is there a completely neutral way of wording this that I'm overlooking?! I'm assuming there must be, and I can't see the wood for the trees due to my panicking in trying to keep things amicable with ExH's family!

How about

"Please join THE celebration of (dds name)'s holy communion on..."

Please join me for the communion of Elsie May on March 1st.

I would imagine they already know whose daughter she is so no need to mention that!

Or

You are cordially invited to celebrate the communion of Elsie-May on March 1st

What about issuing the invite from your daughter, so something like:

please join Katie in celebrating her First Holy Communion, on Saturday xx in party location..

You're all wonderful - I definitely couldn't see the wood for the trees there! Sorted it. Thanks.
