Boosters and Travel

With a number of places requiring that you need your final primary covid vaccine or booster within 270 days of travel what happens if your booster is more than 270 days old before summer?

I had my booster in Oct due to work so the 270 days is up early June. Will I need another booster to be allowed entry in Europe? I can’t find definitive advice anywhere about whether countries consider that the booster “runs out” like the primary course. Or whether you can get a further booster.

If anyone has any links to advice I’d appreciate it!

I thought most places don't have an expiry on the booster and that the 270 days applies to the 2nd dose not the booster

I’m hoping so but the wording isn’t v clear to me!

One example is:

all guests aged 12 years and over need to be fully vaccinated with a recognised COVID-19 vaccine a minimum of 14 days prior to travel. If more than 270 days (calculated from the last day of the cruise) have passed since the second/last vaccine, a booster vaccine will also be needed and must be administered a minimum of seven days prior to travel.

Does the last vaccine include booster? I did come across some newspaper articles which expressly mention it but they are all behind paywalls.

I suppose some people get a 3rd primary dose so depending on when they got that they'd need a booster

Yes, I guess I’m hoping someone has read some definitive guidance somewhere which will put my mind at rest.

Hopeful bump!
Given Europe is a big place and the rules are very much country dependent you are probably not going to get any definitive responses unless you can narrow things down a bit.

It’s also perhaps worth bearing in mind that in many countries the rules are still in a state of flux, and also that at the moment some countries (e.g. France) still have one set of requirements for entry into the country and then another set of requirements for going into restaurants/cinemas etc….

In short IMHO it’s pretty much impossible for a poster to give simple a reply that covers all of Europe.
