I'm wondering if anyone can help. I'm currently a kinship carer though it's in the early stages. We have a deadline if you like where things may change to a more permanent placement. It's not too far away and although it may not actually happen I'm just trying to find out any helpful info I can.
I'm basically just going to base my questions on if it does happen if anyone can help. I know there'll be an inspection of sorts in the home, does anyone know what that'll be like? I heard about maybe a medical and stuff too. It all seems so invasive especially considering its been months and noones bothered to check any of it so far. Is there anything that I should be aware of?
I could try and ask social work these questions but they never actually get back to you about anything pretty much so I don't see the point.
Can anyone recommend any good sources of support or information? I'm in Scotland as that probably changes some things.
I'd appreciate any help or information given at this point cause I do feel like I've no paddle at the moment and no idea where to turn.
