BBC News - NHS finally dropping C-section limits

Finally! Anyone else pleased by this? The fact they needed to keep it to 20% before meant a lot of women being pushed through horrendous inductions when (looking at them) were very unlikely to work. C-sections are no walk in the park but are the right choice for some women and babies. Hopefully this steers obstetrics in the right direction for women’s care.

Good. Now all they need to do is get it through to midwives that women need proper pain relief post op. I wonder how long that'll take.

Hooray. Although I hope they improve aftercare too, they need more staff so they actually respond to bells and help women who've just had an op with their new baby.
