Best way to gift theatre and accommodation in Manchester

I would like to make a gift of a theatre voucher and accommodation in Manchester.
I want it open for the Palace, Opera House or Lowry theatres for any show the recipient chooses.
I would also like to add accommodation to the gift but I can only think of a cheque to do this.
Does anybody have any better ideas of how to go about it?
Thanks

Intriguing question!

Given that the best drama generally goes to the Royal Exchange theatre, HOME Manchester (or the Lowry) you’d be slightly limiting their experience if you only allowed the three you mention. Unless they only like musicals and traditional West End type shows?

I don’t actually know if old school Theatre Vouchers cover all those places.

Accommodation is a bit easier. You could choose a hotel and order a gift voucher from them - usable at any time provided rooms are available.

Very good point about the Royal exchange and Lowry
