Casual fine dining in London for a 50 th birthday meal?

I've looked at Tom Kerridge bar and grill and now I'm stumped 😃

What sort of budget and any preferences for cuisine?

ROKA at Aldwych was my favourite place to go when I lived in London. Amazing food, lovely setting but not stuffy at all.

I’m now craving their California maki, beef dumplings and prawn tempura 😋

Sorry bocco di lupo! Getting it mixed up with Luca on St John Street, which is also pretty fab!

We went to Murano for my birthday dinner last year and it was lovely. Not stuffy at all and the staff were friendly and helpful. The food is great too. And there is absolutely no dress code.

We had a great meal at Frog by Adam Handling, also just got a Michelin star.
No dress code - relaxed atmosphere.

Locanda Locatelli, totally unstuffy and gorgeous food, one Michelin star.

I really like Il Baretto in Marylebone.
