Car Dash Cams - any recommendations ?

After an unpleasant incident with another motorist ( thankfully no damage but I really wish I could've got the details on camera ) i am going to invest in one .

So any recommendations ?
I'm thinking:
Front+Rear
Hardwired
Good capacity STD card
One that will record if I'm not in the car (my old car got damaged and CCTV didn't cover it )

What else do I need?
Do they drain the battery ?

We have Nextbase which we have hardwired. The picture quality is really good, we do only have front ones at the moment but they have add on camera capacity.

Oh There was a post on a thread yesterday where gonorrhea was an auto correct or predictive text .

Thankfully , no , my DashCam will not be fitted with a side order of the clap . (Hopefully)
