Wordle - I thought everyone had the same word on the same day

But I've just done it and my word is different to DH's word. He hasn't actually found his word yet but the letters that he does have aren't in my word.

Is he doing the Wordle archive?

It counts down in hours doesn’t it until you can next play? Maybe he started several hours after/before you so is on the next word/still on previous word?

One of you is playing on the old site.
Is his word your word from yesterday or is your word his one from yesterday?
Actually I think there is now a two day delay due to a few removed words.
Who is on the New York Times site?

It depends which site you access Wordle on now. Most people have been moved over to the New York Times site but a small number are still on the original Power Language site. About five days ago the two sites started showing different words.

If he is, it's accidental.

I've just checked and a) he searched on Yahoo and b) it doesn't say NYTimes as the webpage. So he probably is on the wrong page. Unfortunately for him I said my word out loud because it was different from his so he can't do today's.

That's only compensation if I do it too. He always wants to beat me, but I got my word in three and he took four or five (he won't tell me) to get his.
