What are you most grateful for in life?

I grew up with an alcoholic father and at the time I thought my life was really bad. We were poor and I was envious of people who had a 'normal' life.

Now, when my children ask me about when I was younger I realise I actually had a lot of happy and funny times. They find it so interesting and funny. Obviously I never talk about the bad times, but I'm really grateful that I have these good memories to share with them.

So that's what I'm grateful for. I hope my dc have lots of good memories to tell their children too.

My friends. They make me laugh until I cry. Nothing better.

That my mum and dad found each other despite being from quite different and damaged homes. I can’t believe my mum made such a good choice if I’m honest. Grin

My neurosurgeon and radiotherapy consultant who did, and still are, saving my life, rather successfully too! And the fact that my elderly father has put on his superman coat and moved to be near me and help EVERY day 💝

My family - my dh, my 3 year old son, my parents. They all drive me crazy at times but I'm so so grateful to have them in my life. I'm very lucky.

My health. I’ve come through cancer and got myself fit again. It’s such a fragile thing which affects everything else.
