Anybody got a passport recently?

I've applied for 3 first child passports and one adult renewal. Popped all of our supporting documents and the old passport into one envelope on the advice of the passport office and sent it signed for. It was signed for on 10/2/22 but the online tracker is still saying that they are waiting for my documents. Is this normal? Shouldn't it have been updated by now. Or am I worrying too much... if you have got a passport recently how long did the whole process take?

Sent all ours 3 weeks ago. Dh came back very quickly within 2 weeks then mine and kids came over the following week.

I did a child renewal and first adult passport and it took just over a month for both.
I sent the docs via signed for delivery but the system didn't update to say documents received until about 10 days after they'd received them.

Appliied on 7th & sent old passport same day, new passport arrived yesterday

It took a week from arrival of my documents for them to say they had received them. I think they only 'receive' them when they open the envelope - it was processed within 5 days after that

I applied for an adult renewal passport on 2nd Feb; sent docs next day signed for delivery. Got an email in 12th to docs had been received but still waiting for new passport & return of docs.

Mine was an adult straightforward renewal with new photos and was posted to Peterborough.
Took 9 days until I received my new passport, which was pretty good, I thought.

Old passport sent off with courier delivery notification on 31st Jan. it took 9 days to receive the passport office confirmation of receipt. Unfortunately need to provide further docs which should arrive on Monday and only hope the reference on the envelope puts them in a different pile and they are acknowledged quickly. I called on Tue and Wed just hone - Tue recorded message said as of 31st Jan new 1st passports were taking 6 weeks and renewals 5. The next day recording had been updated to 13th Feb with 4 and 3 weeks as an average.

Child renewal from abroad - took a month to process. It's due to arrive on Monday.

In comparison I had mine renewed in June and it took a week.

I think people are suddenly realising they want to travel and they need to renew their passports.

Exactly the same happened to us - it looked like it was sitting at the sorting office for 10 days but was totally fine (we had to call up first though) - took 3 weeks from sending to receipt (came this week)

About 3 weeks or just over from sending off to receipt.
