And taps etc?
And who would I need to do the job, a plumber? Is it something I could do myself or not really?

DH did ours so all it cost was the price of the sink and taps we chose, the waste pack & silicone.

He has tackled plumbing jobs several times before though. It isn’t something I would attempt myself because I’d be terrified of mucking it up and coming downstairs to a flooded kitchen!

Rates for plumbers would really depend on your area, some wouldn’t come out to just remove and replace a sink because they want the big paying all day jobs rather than a couple of hour jobs.

Watch a video & see if it is something you could tackle yourself maybe? B & Q 2 part videos below.

I could never replace our old sink because of size issue's

If you are replacing it with one exactly the same size it is a reasonably easy DIY job for someone with a bit of experience.

Again, if the same size and you are not confident enough, it would be cheaper to get a handyman than a plumber. You could ask on FB or NextDoor.
