I've been considering volunteering with a wildlife rescue. I was raised in a family that rescued cats, the occasional dog and fish/small animals. I grew up feeding kittens as soon as I wad old enough. I often find myself in a situation where I've had to rescue wild animals or stray pets.
I used to do falconry so I'm also used to handling birds of prey.
I appreciate that its a ton of work, exhausting and heartbreaking but I'm interested in becoming involved and I'm willing to pay for any training required.
I'd appreciate hearing about other's experiences.
TIA
