Dh has just asked me, as he contemplated Boris’ hair.

Should imagine the dragged through a hedge backwards look is deliberate - 'Oh, look, it's lovable scruff Boris', rather than 'Look at that embarrassing, inarticulate, sorry mess, Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson'.

It's not hard to run a comb through your hair a couple of times a day and make sure you have a shirt with sleeves the right length. Imagine the uproar if Theresa May had appeared looking so unke,pt.

He does have a stylist - himself. He makes sure he looks like he slept under a hedge at all times. Coz LOLZ. Or something 🙄 it's really fucking tiresome

His accountant would say he had. But in reality Boris looks like 10kg of shit in a 5kg bag. How his wife can stand seeing him like that is beyond me.

Lots of fluff, faff and hot air does it. I charge a lot of money for my skill at producing the bed head look he goes for.

I've heard that too. And some of his after dinner type speeches where he supposedly makes a gaff are repeated at other speeches.

I think the 'bumbling fool' is mostly an act, but it worked on large numbers of people who voted for him becasue he is a bit of a laff.

I think Carrie cuts his hair. I think his fashion stylist is his dog.

It's all a big act - including the (photographed) early morning runs in office shirt, jumper, beach shorts & beanie.

All part of the cuddly Boris persona, rather than the nasty piece of work that he really is.

The public figure of 'Boris' is a fabrication. He's being doing the shambolic, dishevelled, making-it-up-on-the-hoof thing for decades, to hide the much nastier person (as described by many who have known and worked with him), the scheming, angry, begrudging person he really is, to wrong foot, to out play, to make people rather underestimate him. He's an expert at it, he needs no help. It has taken him a very long way. But I t looks as if he's running out of road. Many have seen through it, many more soon will. See that this never very funny charade, joke, has in fact been on us.
