DD is constantly taking blankets out the blanket box for no real reason and leaving them draped all around the house. Makes the living room look scruffy and the stairs dangerous! It turns me into a demented demon every morning when she is doing it before school!

DD13 Takes socks off and dumps them on bedroom floor. Gives me the rage

DS7 jumps and bangs about in his bedroom (which has laminate floor) and when I spend my life in the kitchen directly below him, it sounds like a baby elephant having a disco, this noise affects me SO much I am considering getting the room carpeted for my own mental health - I can’t take it any longer!

Pissing on the floor and spitting toothpaste in the sink and not rinsing it off!! that's my pet hate right now oh and the grunting (15) simple question about logistics/picking up/dropping off for instance - grunt response, I am doing you a favour here you little .....

@MinnieMountain

Asks me endless rounds of “would you rather?” Mainly based around weapons or flying.
Oh yes, this one too. Though mine are usually about cars. I can't drive and dont give a flying fig about cars. I have no idea whether I'd prefer a BMW or an Audi; or a Ferarri or a Porsche. If I say I dont know, he pushes for an answer. So then I say one at random and he wants to know why I prefer it.

Hoarding recycling to put bits of paper or Lego or buttons in. Her room is a state and everything is tiny yet precious things so really hard to sort and have homes for. Doesn't help her storage is all massive kallax boxes.

DC1 (age 6): Everythjng has to be as dramatic as possible. She’ll be telling me a story about something that happened at school, and it’s like having a conversation with Louis Spence Confused
DC2 (age 5): Is in that phase where he goes out of his way to irritate everyone around him. He gets some sort of sick thrill out of upsetting his sisters and it makes me want to throw him in the bin.
DC3 (age 2): Climbs on everythjng. And I mean everything. Gets herself into the tiniest gaps imaginable then cries when she can’t get out.

I love them with every ounce of my being…but the little hellbeasts can be irritating AF!

Fighting every single mealtime over who gets to sit in a certain seat at the table. There are 6 identical chairs, just sit down!!

DD (14) the floordrobe! She puts all her clean and dirty clothes on the floor in a great heap inches away from the wash basket and the actual wardrobe.

DS (11) leaves snack wrappers under sofa cushions and down the back of the sofa despite being told off and punished for this many many times

Basically my kids are just terminally lazy.

BeaLola · 18/02/2022 10:03

DS14 - incapable of turning a light off ,
leaves empty cardboard from finished loo roll atop the radiator on downstairs loo,
drapes fluffy blanket over sofa onto floor and never takes it back to his room ,
Takes all the charging cables never to be seen again
Leaves tiny amount of milk or juice in containers - not enough for anyone else but not finished either
All clothes seem to get worn for miniscule amount of time and end up on his bathroom floor

Sweetleftfood · 18/02/2022 14:17

Oh yes stuffing sweet wrappers and the disappearance of charging cables Shock bloody hell, we had about 5 and now down to 2.....

BobHadBitchTits · 18/02/2022 14:36

My son is 5 so literally everything he does is annoying.

My niece and nephew have this vile habit of shoving stuff down the side of the sofa cushions instead of putting stuff in the bin. It's mostly wrappers and things.

The other day my nephew went to my mums house for tea and decided he didn't like the sausages so shoved them down the side of the cushions. She was not happy!

PleaseYourselfandEatTheCrusts · 18/02/2022 20:17

The loo roll family sounds adorable! Smile

gluenotsoup · 18/02/2022 20:28

Actually- they are🥰. Drives me bananas, but I can’t cull them all 😂
