I've not watched the programme, and couldn't cope with it at all. I can't bear cruelty. But I'm already a vegan, and already aware of the horrors of dairy farming.
@Aprexio I'm not sure if goat farming is less cruel or not. I would imagine the farms are smaller and less intense? But I'm not sure at all. There's a charity called Compassion in World Farming, who would know about different farming methods, they'd be able to advise you.
Oat milk is increasingly popular, and the most eco-friendly of them all. I use it a fair bit. I also often use an ethical soya milk brand, called So Soja, it's made using organic French soya beans, so no rain forest destruction. It's getting easier and easier to be plant-based these days, and I think many people are at least cutting down on meat and dairy, even if they don't feel ready to go fully vegan yet...
