I've been watching the gofundme pages of these victims of romance fraud and am interested in why the two campaigns have elicited such different sympathies.
Is it because of the Netflix documentary Tinder Swindler? Or is it that Rachel Elwell's story was less credible and she came out blaming her bank, the police and her family for her own mistakes?
