Alternative to hog roast at a party

I was hoping to have a party in the e garden in the summer but want something to soak up the booze
Ideally a Paella or a hog roast but it just seems soo expensive to get those guys in.
So now I am wondering how/what I could do myself mostly in advance that would keep people full.

How many people?
Baguettes
Garden salad
And some cold roast chickens

I know it seems obvious but surely a barbecue is perfect?

Jacket spuds done in advance
Loads of salads
Burgers/sausages/kebabs made and marinated in advance

How many people? So long as it's not unmanageable numbers you can recreate a hog roast type experience by slow cooking/braising a large joint of meat (pork shoulder/lamb leg/beef brisket) over a long period so it's very soft and tender (pulled pork esq) and then serve with buns, salads and an appropriate sauce. So if pork you could do hog roast style with apple sauce (and ideally pork crackling), if beef brisket an American BBQ sauce and coleslaw, if lamb you could go middle Eastern style with flatbreads and a yoghurt sauce? The advantage of something served in bread is it's easy to eat one handed standing up...

Or if you have larger numbers and want something easier, how about ordering in loads of pizzas (ideally nice wood oven ones but appreciate not everywhere does this), or a fish and chip van, I've seen both of these done at weddings, not sure how much it cost but perhaps less than full catering? Again you could bulk out by doing your own salads etc as a side and perhaps a pudding?

You could do a few legs of pork in the oven.

Or what about pulled pork in a slow cooker? Really easy to keep ticking over on a low heat.

I have just been looking at my numbers and it's 75 ppl. I feel that's a lot for Someone to be doing on the bbq

Pulled pork in advance is one option.
Just trying to work out how it will all work tbh

Thanks

Recently we got in a pizza van, one of those wood fired things in a horsebox, was less than half the price of a hog roast.

I was going to recommend a pizza van also if it fits your budget. 75 is a lot to be catering yourself even if you are happy to be managing that practically during the party as well as huge prep and storage needed in advance.
