I’m feeling very tired & low so would love to read about the good things that have happened to you today.

I’m sorry you’re feeling low and tired. That’s me most days too, the last few months (years?!) have really wiped me out.

My good news is that I’m on maternity leave and I found out today that I will get my full bonus paid out next month. I’m so pleased because the first time I went on maternity leave, my old boss screwed me over and they gave me nothing at all. My current boss is amazing and has been really supportive and ensured equity across the team in so many ways.

That’s great!
Anyone else?

My daughter has a 5 month old child. I helped her buy a wheelbarrow today. No way she could do it alone. Simple things can be wonderful!

@CurryLover55 - bad news good news - Good news - puppy slept through until 7am this morning - good news - I have found a way of stopping him eating the skirting boards - bad news - he has had a chomp at my printer - good news - he is v cute and has now gone all a bit floppy in time for the Gilded Age.

Such is the glamour of my life

Hope you feel better soon & get a good night's sleep Flowers

My little fosterling, who is attached to me with glue and gaffer tape, worked with one of the therapists at his physio group today for the first time ever. One of the lovely ladies took my other fosterling and they ushered me out to the office armed with tea and chocolate for a chinwag with another member of staff because they know I am hanging in by a thread as my lovely DH has terminal cancer and isn't doing so well. I haven't slept in weeks, I haven't had a night sit from Marie Curie in 3 weeks as they are rushed off their feet too and I just needed a break. When I came back in the room, fosterling 1 came running at me so I crouched down and held my arms out to him, he swerved by me and went to shut the safety gate I had left open (I had closed the door but he has an issue with open gates). He's almost 2 and he hadn't missed me one bit!

My DS was 25 today. He really detests jigsaws (we do them a fair bit) so as a joke we wrapped up a box of crunchy nut cereal in a slightly bigger box. He was unwrapping it saying ‘this had better not be a puzzle or I will lose my mind!’ Was very amused once he realised.

And DGD3 pronounced that 25 was a little number so he was happy not to be considered old Grin.
