Anyone cut down on carbs and sugar and found it helped weight loss?

Im trying AGAIN to cut right down on carbs and sugar.
Am fighting a losing battle with menopause.
I dont want to count calories and macros .

Has anyone had any success with this approach? Did it get easier? I'm on day 1 and desperate for bread already!! Lol

I'm on week 2 of the fast 800 Keto, I lost 8lb in week one so seems to be doing something! First 3/4 days I was hungry and it was a bit rubbish but after that I've found it to be surprisingly ok!

The book has a meal plan in it which might help? You need quite a lot of protein and fat to keep you full. Best of luck!

Yes. I did a couple of weeks of slowly reducing carbs - replacing evening meal carbs with extra vegetables, replacing snacks (biscuits/crisps) with nuts/cheese, replacing breakfast cereal with fried eggs. I also increased my water consumption, including one serving of unflavoured electrolyte powder mixed in each day.
I think these helped to reduce the "carb flu" symptoms that people tend to feel for the first few days.

I am on a blood group diet and have lost 10kg since October. Need to lose 3kg more to reach my target weight. I don't starve with this diet, I only eat what is good for my blood group.
